Edwards Air Force Base airshow

I visited the Edwards AFB open house in 1997, this was the year 50th anniversary of breaking the sound barrier was celebrated.
Chuck Yeager once again broke the sound barrier with F-15D "Glamourous Glennis", also the SR-71 broke the sound barrier.
Other interesting display included Bomber formation of B-52, B-1, B-2 and the Thunderbirds (also celebrating 50th anniversary with special markings)
However, if you take photos or videos, there are 2 negative points about this show.
The runway is very far from spectators and all take-offs and fly-bys appear as small "dots" on your picture, even though you use a good telephoto lens.
Also you will be facing the sun all day.
Even with these in consideration, Edwards airshow flight display is a must see along with USAF test and NASA aircraft on static display.
