NAS Point Mugu airshow

Point Mugu is the home to Naval Weapons Test Squadron, famous for all gloss black colored F-4 Phantom and F-14 Tomcat.
The annual Airshow in Point Mugu is very exciting to watch.
There is a pretty good chance you can see the sonic boom vapor from the jets due to its proximity to the ocean.
On the other hand, the airfield often is under fog, once again due to its proximity to the ocean, and you may not always be able to take photos under clear blue sky.
