NAS Lemoore airshow

Hot ! This is the first impression I get when I visited the Lemoore airshow.
If you are going, remember that it's HOT! Bring a hat, sunscreen, iced water and sunglass.
From the North end of parking lot, I can see tens of F/A-18s parked - Wow !
I have seen the airshow in 1999 and 2001.
I must say that the 2001 show is fairly slow, with F/A-18F being the most and only interesting performance besides Blue Angels.

	This is only PORTION of the line up of Hornets. How many are there? How much do they worth?
	So, if you have that many hornets, you will also need many fuel tanks.

	Opening ceremony starts with U.S. flag flown by Lemoore Base Flight's rescue unit's helicopter. The aircraft is HH-1N (Bu.158551 / 7S) Including this aircraft, Bu.158551 through 158557 was originally manufactured as VIP transport version VH-1N and used by USMC HMX-1.
	F/A-18F of USN VFA-122 (Bu.165798 / NJ-124) is the first Super Hornet I have seen flying. Too bad I am facing towards the sun in the morning and the aircraft fly far far away. But who cares - I do not like the "Super" Hornets anyway.
	Modern marines' weapon, F/A-18C makes a formation flight with another marines' weapon - F4U Corsair used almost 60 years ago. F/A-18D is from USN VFA-125 (Bu.164259 / NJ-355) Corsair is owned by Planes of Fame Museum, and is FG-1D (Bu.67087 / N11Y) Note the difference of angle of attack between the modern jet fighter and classic warbird.
	F/A-18C of USN VFA-115 (Bu.163439 / NK-200) is a colorful CAG aircraft.
	U.S. Army's AH-1 looking very hungry.
	F-16C of USAF 27FW/522FS (87-0243 / CC and 87-0306 / CC) parked.
	One of the latest aircraft for US Navy is this T-45 Goshawk, to replace T-2 and TA-4. This aircraft is T-45A of USN TW-2 (Bu.163650 / B-250)
	Civilian aerobatics: Pits S-2S modified, "Bulldog" piloted by Jim LeRoy.
	Classical AT-6G "Sixty One Oh One"(N257DB) demo.
	Very rare to see, F-15B from USAF 412TW, Edwards AFB (76-0132 / ED) performs a demo.
	I'm happy when I get a shot like this.
	This is what happened on Sunday show in year 2001: No.4 position was flown by No.7 aircraft No.6 position was flown by No.4 aircraft No.6 aircraft did not fly. Complicated !
