JASDF Nyutabaru airshow

This is by far THE BEST airshow in Japan.
Nyutabaru has a squadron of Aggressor unit (F-15DJ), 301 Squadron (F-4EJ Improved) and 202 Squadron (F-15J)
These squadrons perform an outstanding formation and high maneuver display.
F-1 from nearby Tsuiki, C-1 paradrop demo and T-4 Blue impulse are just some of the other attractions seen here.
The best viewpoint for this show is not the show center (which you will be facing the sun all day) but the parking lot on the opposite side of the runway.
Here, the distance between you and the runway is very very short.
I do not know anywhere else in the world where you can take photos of fighters taking off this close.
Even if you arrive by train/bus, you can take a shuttle bus to move to the parking lot to enjoy the show performed right in front of and right above you.

Note: Currently you cannot enter south side of the runway. It may not be the best airshow as it used to be, although the Agressor units there are still very interesting to see.
